XP: Question for you Atlanta ladies... (relocation?)

I mostly post on TTGP and 3T, but thought I'd stop here for some firsthand opinions.  MH and I currently live in San Jose, CA (just south of San Francisco), and HATE it.  We moved here for my job, and are now looking for some place to relocate where we can settle long term and actually afford to buy a home some day.  So, my question for you ladies is, what do you like about Atlanta?  dislike?  what are your thoughts for someone considering a cross-country relocation?  TIA!
